ArtsyGirl Connection 2011
Spring /Easter Napkin Ring Collection
Inspired by spring, I set out today to find artsy inspiration
on blogs all around my artsy fun blogger bliss listings. Although I did
come up with tons of cute inspirations, while folding some
napkins before dinner I decided to make some fun and creative
napkin rings.. I LOVE my newest creations and really hope you
enjoy them too. They where very easy and simple to create, and
add such a fun touch of spring & elegance to any dinning table.
Enjoy~~~My Official 2011 Spring
Napkin Ring Collection
"Springing Up Your Spring/
Easter Dinner Table"
Artsy Items Needed
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
*Paper Towel Rolls
*Ribbon
*Glue Gun
*Scissors
*Cutter (Hobby Knife)
*Flower petals & buttons (but you can add
whatever you love to your creation once they are done ;))
Ready to craft..? Lets make
some artsy & creative fun rings..
To begin, cut each cardboard paper tube equally into sized
rings of your liking using your craft knife. (I love the variety of
having both small and regular sized rings so feel
free to explore your size options)
Cut about a foot length of ribbon for each of the napkins rings you've now cut
out to size (use more ribbon per your size of cardboard paper tube)
Glue one end of each piece of ribbon to the inside of the rings using
craft glue & completely allow the glue to dry before moving on.
Wrap the ribbon around and around the napkin ring in a nice
overlay fashion to give the ribbon wrap a nice sequence all around
.
End the wrapping on the inside of the ring each time
with a strip of glue as you loop the ribbon through and around the ring.
"Phase 1"
"Phase II"
Once you are done looping the ribbon around comple
tely,
you are practically
done with the base of the ring itself and
could use it as is, or move
forward and get creative
as I did by adding fun touch
es and features to the ring ;))
For decorations, you can add anything from small plastic flowers and
foliage, different colors and types of ribbon, or even lace to your ring.
I decided to explore with buttons and fun flower petals.
**Adding fun touches to your ring ;))**
Simply attach the decorations with craft glue however you will love
to
feature them on the ring. Allow the ring
to dry completely
for about 30
mins,
and you are ready to ring on
your pretty napkins & set your
beautiful table for presentation!!
