Is A Beautiful Blessing!!
In just a few hour's, I will have an E L E V E N
year old handsome little boy!! I can't believe how
swift the years flew by. I remember being pregnant,
scared, a bit lost but filled with SO much love! I had Caley on a beautiful day in December years ago,
it was the first day it actually snowed all year..I remember the nurses saying, you are
BLESSED, you are the only one to deliver
today and your son brought us SNOW..LOL!!

It was really awesome to have him on
Christmas eve, I felt so special as the hospital
had volunteers come in and sing carol's in
the various rooms, we had extra special
Christmas meals, and all my family from
around came up and spent long hours
hanging out and watching movies with us.
Life has simply been just that
much better ever since..

I went out to pick a Birthday card for him this evening, it's always SO hard, I break down
EVERY year so I end up putting it off until the last minute.. !! It's very touching to read,
pick a card and have it say all the intricate lovely things I want him to know. I end up writing him the longest cards as I can't help reliving all the wonderful
moments we share each day and how lucky I
am to be his mommy.. Although Caley's not my
only child, he is my first, and I can't explain the
love I felt just seeing him for the first time,
holding him, simply falling in love,
completely being mesmerized and
overwhelmed with happiness..

Tonight Dear Caley, as we count down to your
birthday, I want you to know I am truly honored
and SO proud to have you as my son. You bring
me SO much joy and endless day's of smiles. You are
caring, gentle, and not afraid to hold me in times of
sorrow, hug me tight with joy in happiness, bounce
me back on my down day's with laughter, and simply
be the first one to always say, "who cares about it
mom..? I love you..That's all that matter's remember..?"
Yes love, I remember, and always will no matter the low's and high's, changes through life as you inch closer to leaving this nest of our's, you will never
out grow my heart, but always remain my very first
unconditional truest love..
