Hi guys, forgive me as YOU have to be IT to listen and make it a
bit better, simply because, I KNOW YOU understand!!!!
{Saweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee} Hope your day is far
BETTER than mine today! WHEW!!
.................................................

Am I The Only One..?
Who has to roll down the window and take deep breaths to endure the 50th
“Mommy, mommy, maaaaaaaammy” {LOL} in the back seat
when my driving time is supposed to be MY down time?
Am I the only one?
Who can’t wait to take the LONGEST shower EVER to simply
have sometime within four walls with no sounds
but that of the amazing shower running?!?!?
{Even then, i'm edge that someone WILL come budging in!}
Am I the only one who JETS out the door when daddy come homes for an
unneeded LONG trip to the grocery store and a SLOW drive back home for a breatha..?
Am I the only one who HATES (ok, maybe ENVY) all those with amazing
parents who can’t get enough of their grandkids and want to adopt them already?
{My parents MOVED straight to Africa when we became of age! UGH!}
Am I the only one who can’t wait to get to work every morning to try to enjoy
time away only to realize UGH, I LOVE but hate my co-workers at the same time?
Am I the only one who can’t WAIT till bedtime every night and feel like
a billion bucks once the last child is tucked in?
Am I the only one after all is said and done that still looks down upon my
children in their sleep and think “You stress me all day, but I can’t
get enough of your beautiful lil face”?!
……………………..Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr..
Life’s full of stressed out moms, I’m it today, but I never feel alone…
These lil faces make it ALL worth it, no matter
how many times I want to simply QUIT.. lol..

You are not the only one!! Vent all you want I'll listen and understand! {Am I the only one who's husband dose not "get it"? Or even lend a helping hand because he thinks it is my job alone to take care of the house, kids, pets, ECT?} Lets vent together.
ReplyDeleteHope your day gets better.
Lol Rose! Whew! I feel much better knowing someone else gets it!!! I have an amazing fiancé who helps when he can, but his schedule is so hectic that I take it all upon myself to GET it done and the right way once for that matter and it's totally overwhelming (now if I can just get him to put things back where he took them from, I'll save a good hr per day, lol) ... It takes a lot to be a mommy! I feel overwhelmed most days and in need of a vacation! I love my children wholeheartedly and find myself wishing I could be like them a day again when deciding which flavor pop tart to have was insanely tasking!!! Lol! Thanks SO much for sharing with me!!! Totally made me smile to know you understand and can relate :))) bigggggggest hugs!!! :)))
DeleteI am totally here for the venting as well, Marilyn. I understand, and I know there are other moms who know exactly where you are coming from. There was a time when I felt like everyone expected me to just smile and be happy all day long simply because I became someone's mommy. But many days I feel like screaming, seeking therapy, and not-freaking-cooking-dinner. Point blank, and the period. Add not doing ANY domestics to that list, haha.
ReplyDeletePlease know that it happens to the best of us, hun. Keep up the good work and remember the little ones and how we're the biggest thing in their small worlds right now. When I think of being that heroic figure, and when I see those angelic sleeping faces at night, I remember how totally worth it being a mommy is. Hugs to you, sweetie. xoxo
LOL Dre, I LOVE your response!! Totally brought me back to basics in understanding WE ALL share the same INSANE life that we can't help but LOVE so much.. Haahaaaa - (Seeking Therapy ME TOO except for I think the thought of sharing my problems to someone while they sit and get paid might piss me off more than help me.. lollol).. Thanks SO much for cheering me up today.. It's always amazing to connect with you.. Wishing you a WONDERFUL week and evening love.. xoxo.. Cheers to #MomsthatROCK .. lol..
DeleteLets Plan a mommy retreat!!!! Uninterrupted time would be awesome. I try to remember what the older women say to me all time. Enjoy these times. They go fast and you WILL miss all the noise. I am not totally convinced I will miss the noise but hey let's soak it all in.
ReplyDeleteon an other note I do take long showers just for the peace. :)
hhhh, don't they Jaqui..? I know we oughta soak it up even on these days, if only the magic pill worked to get through it and not strive to see the bright side.. lol.. Thanks for always being SO encouraging.. YOU remain such an amazing friend and an absolutely AWESOME mom I admire.. ;)) Wishing you a beautiful evening love.. xoxo
Delete(((HUGS))) I have the 18 year-old who answers, "I know, mom" to almost everything and then finds out later that even though he's an adult, he clearly doesn't know.
ReplyDeleteLOL Staci, my son does the SAME thing.. I start to think, was I this bad with my parents at that age..? LOL.. It's too funny to watch them grow and see your mistakes and everything else we went through as kids.. This is awesome, I sincerely appreciate you for stopping in and sharing.. YOU totally helped me check back into normality... ;)) THANKS so much hon.. xoxo.. Wishing you a wonderful evening..
DeleteOh my goodness! How you summed it all up as if you peek into my life everyday is beyond me!! I feel the EXACT. SAME. WAY some days. You are definitely not alone.
ReplyDeleteLOL Lani, I totally did huh..? Well, we share SO much in this aspect.. LOVE it.. It's awesome to know we all share the same frustrations and cares, and mommy drama.. LOVE that you stopped in, it totally helped my day.. Wishing you a beautiful evening.. ;))) xo
DeleteAll I have to say is "Yes yes yes!!!" Add to that, my 2.5yo never wants to take a nap during the day at home, at his part-time preschool, or when he gets home from it. Talk about pissed off! I've just decided that if he wants to be a walking zombie 3x a week fine. He just stays his room jumping and yelling/singing for 2 hours anyway. Forget it. (I used to go in his room, telling him to 'lay down' every 10 mins. No more of that.
ReplyDeleteROTFL Elle, I just laughed SO hard!!! {THIS ~> if he wants to be a walking zombie 3x a week fine. He just stays his room jumping and yelling/singing for 2 hours anyway.!!! Haahaaa, that's too hilarious.. Sometimes you TOTALLY have to say screw it, for my sanity sakes, you are just going to have to go without me yelling as my own voice is driving me insane.. lol.. LOVE it.. Oh the joys of mommyhood.. Totally LOVE your comment.. It brightened my day LOTS.. ;))) My daughter hardly naps anymore either unless she's in the car, so I take random trips to the store JUST so she'll fall asleep.. LOL! SMH.. Thanks SO much for sharing!!! It meant SO much to me today.. Wishing you a beautiful week.. ;)) xoxo..
DeleteYour def not alone!!! Please vent all you want, sometimes we just need to get it out, scream, kick, pull your hair, than go back to being the awesome Mommy your are!!! I can't even imagine my days when I have two kids running around, I want to cry some days with just Eden!! :)
ReplyDeleteNope! You are for sure not alone!! The week after the retreat was terrible! It was like Lil' Hunkie' was telling me "it was not ok for you to be gone for the weekend so I'm going to be trouble with a captial T"!! Even though he was telling me 'you go inside momma' when I kissed him goodbye! No one tells you how motherhood can be so challenging! But you're right, that handsome little face makes it all worth while! Thanks for venting!
