Happy Hump Day..
Thanks so much for stopping in! Hope your day is off to a beautiful start.
We have had the case of the cold here, and it's been very tiresome!
Anyone with a toddler with asthma..? I really need some advice. My daughter
recently has had asthmatic symptoms during her colds and was placed on the
pump, my problem with it is, although it helps to control her breathing quickly, it
also makes her very irritable and restless/anxious {do you all experience this per
symptoms..?}. It's so bad that she's wired and stays up for HOURS {hair pulling
for me!}. I feel so bad for her but I'm really hesitant about continuing usage.
Any other options to try? Anything will help at this point! I've missed TWO days
of work and have been UP, for the last two days working on about
4hours of sleep...Yawwwwwwwn! HELP PLEASE!!

My Edited Version #1
I decided to brighten up the photo a bit more and change the direction.
She has the prettiest smile ever and I wanted that to be the STAR of the photo.
I added a soft focus to capture her face much more and added a quote ;))

{\ My Second Take \}
I went a bit pastel in this. I loved the colored version, her pretty lil coat and
the background as well, so I highlighted it all with a bit of burst
of color.. Such a beautiful lil lady.. Love the photo..

DeleteMy son is fifteen now, but when he was 5 months old he was diagnosed with RSV and has had asthma ever since. By the pump do you mean the nebulizer filled with medication that they breath in? Yes, it can affect them differently and cause restlessness and irritability because of the steroid medication. I'm not really aware of any other option to open the airways, though, but would not stop unless you talk to your doctor first. Asthma isn't anything to mess with . . . I lost track of how many times we were at the ER! I would imagine she will be getting better soon, hang in there momma!! xo
ReplyDeleteThanks SO much Kim, yes, it's the nebulizer. I really really hate it, but we've had the trips to the ER lately too and I'm trying to avoid that at all cost. A friend suggested EmergenC to help alleviate the length in cold to avoid having to use the inhaler too much, but I'm scared to give her that as she's far from the required age. Man, this ordeal is really much more than I thought, I really totally have a new found understanding of asthma, especially in children, it's really sad to cope and watch. :( .. Thanks SO much for your inpiut again. It means a lot.. I'll talk with her doctor for options to helping preventing her colds which trigger the attacks.. Hopefully something helps.. Wishing you a beautiful week.. xo..
DeleteI love the crispness in your first one and I love the colors in your second one. Great job Marilyn.

ReplyDeleteSorry. I can't spell today! I developed asthma in my 30's. I get shaky or sleepy from a treatment. My son used to become wired.
DeleteI really like the sepia color and the quote. Great edit!
