Shabby DIY Leg Warmers ....

* winter is finally here *
& I'm in LOVE with
fuzzy, warm & knitted everythings!
I'm taking full advantage of all the amazing warm gear you can
create and settle in snuggly for the season. Especially "Leg Warmers",
wait, mitts, scarves {I'm a scarf junkie}, muffs, cocoa (oh that doesn't count
for gear, but you can't utter winter without it!}...Mmmm "The Cozy's"
diy winter knit sweater to leg warmers
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
I have so many old sweaters I either found while thrifting, or simply inherited over
the years from mom, grandma and my aunts.. Believe it or not, I have issues in
terms of not being able to rid of clothes in hopes of that style resurfacing. I
kinda hate labels, so you'll mostly find me wearing things i can't even remember
where it's original pick up point was.. Makes it that much special (no?!) LOL!
I stumbled upon the cutest creative tutorial via Made
By Alex  & decided it was time for some new winter leg warmers..
So I made some! I'm sharing my turn out to these adorable
knitted leg warmers I'm now happily rocking!

how to make your very own..
I started off with my old but cute knitted sweater that was just too large to wear anymore.
{Shhhhhh, but I fell in love with the patterns and couldn't resist cutting it up!}
Take the sleeves off carefully from the very top of connecting shoulder
to arm stitch. Hem / Surge up the top..
& Tadaaaaaaaaa...
I'm using the extra fabric to make some for Sia. I'll keep you lovey's
updated on how that turn out.. So easy, fun and cozy...
I absolutely love leg warmers..
