up for that itch, I decided to bring the garden indoors and have some fun planting
around the house with .....what other than beautiful Terraniums!!
What do you think..? I love it..Especially
my lil bug & gobbler.. Heehee...
BUT I found other's I loved around as well. So much inspiration!!

Everyday Celebrations.. ~Cupcakes In A Jar..

Are SO fun
and special....
But who say's it's the only
time to indulge in some cake..?
Let Them Eat Cake EVERYDAY!!!!
....Life's too short.. Have Desert First!~
Today, I made my lil munchkin some cupcakes in a jar!
Join us... Lets Celebrate The Everyday's Of Live!
What You Need
Some Mason Jar's..............Sprinkles
Cake Mix (or work from scratch)
 *Funfetti is MUCH more fun!*
Frosting......Why NOT ~>Some Candles! HA!
**These make AWESOME birthday favors**
Lets Jar Up Some Love
To begin, bake your cupcakes.
Let them cool.
Carefully shred into your mason jars. Layer nicely
so you can see the funfetti colors around the outside of jar.
Frost either with plain white frosting or colorful frosting.
(I used plain white as I thought my funfetti sprinkles will do the pops of color trick!)
ALL DONE.. Simple, Fun & Easy To Put Together!
Ask This Little Princess.. She LOVED it!
...........They Make GREAT Birthday Favors!
These where featured at my lil girl's 2nd birthday party!
I added some hello kitty sticker's to the
top of the jar's to match the theme!

~Special Guest Host This Week ~
The Talented & Amazing
Cheryl From Deckside Thoughts...
*Fun Bits About Cheryl*
Your Name ~ Cheryl @ Deckside
Cherl can be found via her amazing blog at Deckside Thoughts
Bits about you / your blog
Feminist. New Englander. Nature photographer. NASCAR/Jeff
Gordon fan. Quirky and unpredictable blogger. Writer of really bad haiku.
What’s Your favorite thing to shoot ?
Anything and everything that lives, grows, or moves outside. If I had to
name just one thing out there, it would be birds, especially those in flight.
What photography is/means to you ?
I'm introverted. I'm also terribly shy around people I don't know. As small as a camera
is compared to a human, you might be surprised at how easy it is to hide behind a
camera. I've used photography to record memories of my family, places I've visited,
and the amazing sights I've seen. These days, I'm more inclined to photograph the
things that leave me in awe. Shooting using an extremely high pixel setting means
I can enlarge an image to see all the intricate details of a feather, the eyes
of a honey bee, or the lopsided grin of a child.
Your favorite shot you took (Ever)
I've owned a camera since I was 9. Choosing one out of the hundreds of thousands
of photos I've taken isn't possible. My favorite photos were all taken when I used
film and knew absolutely nothing about rules or techniques or photo editing
software. Here's a photo, titled "Willet Horking a Crab," that pretty
much sums up who I am and why I love photography today.
Photographers you look up to/ inspire you ?
Ruth Orkin and Henry David Thoreau. Orkin was well-known for her celebrity
photography but it's her spontaneous shots of people that inspires me. Thoreau used
words to create photographs of the natural world he so revered. His wisdom has
taught me to tread lightly ~ to only take photographs and leave only footprints.
What are you shooting w/ ?
Nikon D40X usually with the 55-200 mm lens attached.
Your future goals in your photography
I'm being pushed and pulled in several directions by well-meaning friends and family
members to publish photo books, show my photos in a local gallery, photograph
road racing (running), and sell my work online. I know my work is getting
better and when it's good enough for me, I'll take that leap.
Thanks SO much for guest hosting Cherl. YOU are so talented and it's
exciting to have you join us this week. Can't wait to see your picks ;))
