Sail Away With Me.. Summer Snack!

I was truly honored  to be featured via the amazingly talented
Danille Via Blissful And Domestic Blog  yesterday as part of our
Summer Fun Party. I decided to share a little recipe I stumbled
upon and have fallen in love with this summer. Sharing it with you
amazing folks here today... Let me know your thoughts.. YUM!

I found this awesome creative snack time recipe via Fatmumslim (I absolutely
adore her!) a few weeks ago and thought it'll be a great idea to incorporate into our
summer snack times and get the kids to be a bit adventurous with tomatoes!
(They HATE it!)!!! It's easy, light and very festive... And not to
mention OH BOY THE PRESENTATION IS FABULOUS!!!

Ingredients Needed

1 box of cherry tomatoes(or per how 

many needed for your lil munchkins awaiting!)
1 cucumber..............1 slice of white bread
1 Can of tuna in oil (Drain away the oil)
2 tbs of soft cream cheese

HERE'S HOW TO WHIP THIS UP! YUM!!!

Hollow Out Some Tomatoes..Rinse Out Seeds!

Slice Some Cucumbers Into Flat Rounds & Layer 

The Tomatoes (Your Boats On Top) ~ Try To Flatten / Balance.

Stuffing Your Tomatoes

Carefully Mix Tuna, Cream Cheese (feel free to substitute the cream cheese 

for mayo!), A Bit Of Salt And Pepper Very Well Until Meshed Together.

(I tried it again with lil slices of onions in the tuna and it was even better!) Stuff 

your mixture into each one of your cut out tomatoes carefully and balance.

Slice Up Some Bread Into Triangles...*Your Sails*

Insert A Tooth Pick Into Bread To Stand Sails Up And Prop Into Your 

Tomatoes. You Can Alternate With Slices Of Cheese On Top Of Your Tomatoes

For The Non-Bread Lovers As A Fun Option.. I Added Some Cheese To The 

Bottom Of The Tomatoes On A Few As Well For My Cheese Loving Lil Loves!

You can really put so much more into this treat to personalize itand make it 

just more fun than it already is for YOU.. Serve to your lil ones 

and watch them sail away with smiles.. Fun, Simple &

Hi there Lovelies!

I am Danielle and I blog at Blissful and Domestic. I am a blogger, homeschooler, mamma,
wife, and Vinyl Designs creator. I love to inspire and create.  Lately my littles and
I have been enjoying the great weather we are experiencing on our side of the country.
We are doing a Summer Camp at Home this year and we have been having a blast!
Today I wanted to share one of the simple fun activities we did.


A week or so ago I had a surprise for my littles when they woke up. I told them that we
would not be having our standard cereal and milk for breakfast. I told them that today
we were having a super special breakfast, but we had to go pick it up first. They were
to go in their jammie jams and then they would be surprised at where we would be
getting breakfast. We piled into the van and started.They tried to guess where we
were going and my Bubba actually guessed, as he realized we were driving
towards the Grocery Store. Yep he guessed it. We were going on a Doughnut
run for breakfast. This is a big deal for my littles. We rarely if ever eat out.
I knew getting doughnuts would be a real treat.

Jazz It Up With Fun Headbands This Summer.
Today's feature is from me, alongside my beautiful co-host Sherika.
We are sharing bits about how we jazz up our lil girls closets and summer
outfits on the go with fun headbands.. I've found dozens of really cute
heandbands all around the web. Especially on pinterest.. This one is the
easiet I LOVE that I can play around with and get a lot of quick fix use
out of for any outfit!! It's adorable, easy and very cute to fit any look!!
Pretty Sweet ~ Flower Roll Headbands....

Start with about a 1″ ripped strip of fabric (you can use any width to be 
fitting for your flower size). The length and weight of your fabric will 
dictate the end diameter of your flower.

Fold strip in half and dot a little glue on the end about 1/2″ or so. Roll the glued 
end a few times to get a nice tight center. Once you have a center you like 
best, start folding your fabric away from the center as you roll.

Periodically secure the layers with fabric glue as you go on. Keep 
rolling until you have a flower that is sized the way you like, be 
cautious to make sure you leave at least a 1″ or 2″ tail 
that's enough to cover flower bottom after.

Spread glue over the bottom side of the flower to cover all around it. Then fold 
the tail down to cover the glue. Gently press flat with your fingers, and 
trim away your excess fabric. Your flower roll is all done! To spruce mine 
up a bit, I added some wooden heart buttons to the middle to add 
a little more to the rolls. Simply cute and very fun! Attach to 
your headbands with some glue and VOILA! 

VOILA!!! ALL DONE!!!!!!
