hope your week was grand.

Things have been super crazy around here and working on things to

share has been far from easy to adjust into my schedule {Frowny Face!}..

I've given up a few things around here lately as I've been locked away in

editing and finally getting full blown into my photography biz.

..yes, it's happening.. i'm happily snapping away~

Most don't know as I never really publicized this, but I love wedding planning and 
have entirely planned 6weddings to date for friends and family here in Boston. 
Although it's a great passion of mine, it gets time consuming but I love being able 
to in the midst of the chaos, take intricate photo's that the hired guys don't get to first 
hand capture within the moments.. Hence, this is my real reasoning behind 
wanting to take this plunge to mainly focus on photography.

I've been working on an intricate portfolio to start up a portfolio to pursue full time 
photography at some point soon. I recently launched a facebook page HERE you can

Are you an early Christmaser or a last minuter?

I decided this year to get everything done super early.

You see, I read a story to my students not to long ago called 
"Dave Cooks The Turkey". If you aren't a Canadian you likely don't know 
about one of our national treasures-Stuart McClean. He has a show on our national 
radio station (CBC) called "The Vinyl Cafe". Each week he has musical guests and 
then treats us all to one of his amazing stories all about a family made up of; Dave, 
Morley and their two kids, Stephanie and Sam. They make you laugh, they make you 
cry and they make you happy that we have a publicly funded national broadcast system.

Take a quick listen here. Why am I mentioning this?

Well, Morely in the story wants to once again love Christmas instead of just 
racing through, so she joins a Christmas group. I wanted to enjoy Christmas this year-a lot.

Small one is just old enough to really understand what is going on and I really want to 
get our family traditions rolling. So I have almost everything done, except my decorating.

That's fun though. Need some pin'inspiration to top-up your Christmas?

Documenting Christmas...

It's Christmas Time..

I'm Simply Officially getting excited for SO much that makes up for this season.

5yrs, it's my absolute favorite}

{Ours isn't decorated yet, but we made it through getting it up. Daddy and the

 boys did a wonderful job. A great Christmas tradition we share each year 

is to bake cookie's, go out together and get the tree, come home and put it 
up while having cookies and milk and watching a Christmas movie.. }
